Nike and the LA84 Foundation are donating $4 million to renew 84 play surfaces and improve the quality of youth sports in Los Angeles. The new and refurbished play surfaces will help rejuvenate communities by creating spaces for children to play so they can lead healthy and active lifestyles.

Nike and the Football Foundation recognize the impact young people in sports can have on the community. That’s why they teamed up to create the Nike Player Panel, a group of premier league players in search of the best community-based sports projects in every region. Impress top players Theo Walcott (Arsenal FC), Owen Hargreaves (Manchester United FC), Steven Taylor (Newcastle FC), and Gabby Agbonlahor (Aston Villa FC), and your project could be awarded £10,000.
