Nike and the LA84 Foundation are donating $4 million to renew 84 play surfaces and improve the quality of youth sports in Los Angeles. The new and refurbished play surfaces will help rejuvenate communities by creating spaces for children to play so they can lead healthy and active lifestyles.

In a world where skateboarding just verges on being considered a sport, 22 year old, Paul Rodriguez is a legend in his own time. P-Rod, as he’s known, is one of the biggest names in skating and was deemed the “golden child” even before achieving Rookie-of-the-Year status in 2002.
